Waitemata Endoscopy in partnership with Southern Cross Hospitals Limited provide a comprehensive endoscopy service to patients Auckland wide, from our Northern Clinic on Auckland’s North Shore to our new clinic at Lincoln Road, Henderson in West Auckland.
Experienced specialists and dedicated endoscopy nursing teams
Our clinical teams provide diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, with individual assessment, clear preparation instructions and follow-up arrangements.
Gastroscopy
Examination of the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum to investigate symptoms such as reflux, difficulty swallowing and upper abdominal pain.
Colonoscopy
Examination of the large bowel to assess symptoms, detect polyps and investigate potential causes of bleeding or changes in bowel habit.
Endoscopic Ultrasound
Detailed assessment of the pancreas, bile ducts and gastrointestinal tract, including tissue sampling when indicated.
Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy
Selected conditions can be treated endoscopically, sometimes avoiding more invasive surgery.
